Sylvia received her Undergraduate and Master’s Degrees in Speech and Language Pathology from Western University in London, Ontario in 1985 and 1989, respectively.
She is a registered member of CASLPO (College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario), assuring you of Sylvia’s clinical competence.

Sylvia’s education in Speech and Language Therapy included courses in phonetics, articulation, grammar, voice, language, rehabilitation and pragmatics (social communication skills) as well as specific training in assessment and treatment.
She has spent 1000’s of hours analyzing her clients’ speech and working through goals set to improve their communication skills.
Sylvia’s training as a Speech Language Pathologist means she is able to identify, assess and treat a wide range of speech and language issues and/or make appropriate referrals to other qualified professionals, if necessary.
Prior to working in the area of Accent Training, Sylvia provided speech and language therapy to children and adults in Toronto and surrounding areas.
She assessed and provided speech and language therapy to individuals with a variety of communication issues including autism, acquired brain injury, voice, fluency and speech disorders/delays for 35 years.
